Tenant Didn't Provide Access to Exterminator

LVT Number: 16899

Tenant complained of a reduction in services based on vermin problems. She claimed that she had mice in her apartment. The DRA ruled for tenant and reduced her rent. Landlord appealed, showing that monthly extermination service was provided and that tenant had refused to provide access to the exterminator for at least three months. The DHCR ruled for landlord. Tenant didn't dispute landlord's claim that she denied access for extermination services. So tenant wasn't entitled to a rent reduction for this item.
