Tenant Defaulted Under Settlement Agreement

Landlord sued to evict tenant for nonpayment of rent. Landlord and tenant signed a settlement agreement in which landlord agreed to renew tenant's lease on the condition that tenant pay back rent under a schedule. When tenant defaulted, landlord sought eviction. Tenant then asked the court to vacate the settlement agreement. The court ruled against tenant, and tenant appealed. The appeals court ruled against tenant. Tenant's payment defaults weren't excusable.
