Tenant Claims Landlord Violated Settlement Agreement

Landlord sued to evict tenant. Landlord and tenant signed a ''so-ordered'' settlement agreement. Tenant agreed to move out by May 31, 1999. In return, landlord agreed to waive $8,500 in back rent and to pay tenant $500 if she moved out by the deadline. Six months after tenant vacated, she claimed that landlord didn't pay her the $500 when she moved out and asked the court to order landlord to pay. Landlord claimed that tenant didn't move out until June 9, didn't return the keys, and left a lot of trash in the apartment. The court ruled against tenant.
