Tenant Can't Seek Enforcement on Appeal of DRA Order

LVT Number: #28298

Tenant complained of rent overcharge and specifically claimed that landlord failed to register her apartment with the DHCR between 2009 and 2014. The DRA ruled for tenant and ordered landlord to file the missing rent registrations. Tenant appealed and lost. Tenant requested that the DHCR monitor rent registrations for the apartment because she didn't believe the apartment would be registered correctly. But tenant cited no error in the DRA's decision and a PAR wasn't the proper proceeding to ensure landlord compliance with the DRA's order. Tenant's PAR was dismissed.
