Tenant Can't Delay Eviction Warrant

LVT Number: 9564

Landlord sued to evict tenant. The court ruled for landlord in December 1993 but delayed execution of the eviction warrant through Dec. 31, 1994, as long as tenant paid use and occupancy. Tenant did so and in late December 1994 asked the court to delay the eviction warrant for six more months. Tenant claimed he hadn't yet found a new apartment, and that his physical handicap and special religious requirements made it harder for him to find a suitable apartment. The court ruled against tenant.
