Tenant Agreed Not to Keep Pet in Apartment

Landlord sued to evict tenant for keeping a dog in his apartment. Landlord and tenant signed a court-ordered settlement agreement in which tenant agreed not to keep a dog. Tenant later asked the court to vacate the agreement and claimed he had a possible defense to landlord's petition under the pet waiver law. The court ruled against tenant, and tenant appealed. The appeals court also ruled against tenant. Tenant didn't show any legal basis to vacate the settlement agreement.
