LVT Number: 12493

Tenant complained of a reduction in services. The DRA ruled for tenant and reduced his rent. Landlord later applied for rent restoration after restoring the services. The DRA ruled for landlord based on tenant's acknowledgment that the defective condition had been corrected. Tenant appealed, arguing that he never acknowledged that the condition was corrected. The DHCR ruled against tenant. Tenant answered a notice from the DHCR and stated that his ceiling hadn't leaked in the two weeks after landlord made repairs.
