Small Wall Cracks in Bathroom

LVT Number: 10716

Tenant complained of a reduction in services based on cracks in his bathroom wall. The DRA ruled for tenant and reduced his rent. Landlord appealed, claiming that the small wall cracks were minor defects and didn't warrant a rent reduction. The DHCR agreed and ruled for landlord. All other repairs had been made, and the cracks were corrected by landlord after the DRA issued its order.
