Section 8 Program Terminated Tenant's Subsidy Without Hearing

The Spring Valley Section 8 office then terminated tenant's rent subsidy without holding a hearing. Tenant filed a court appeal, claiming that the termination was improper. The court ruled for tenant. The local office violated federal rules by failing to hold an informal hearing before terminating her Section 8 subsidy. The case was transferred to the Appellate Court for a final ruling.
