Recycling Containers Not Labeled

DOS issued a violation notice to landlord for placing an improper curbside recycling container out for collection. Landlord claimed that he used a rigid blue recycling container that complied with city regulations. The ALJ ruled against landlord and fined him $25. Landlord appealed and lost. All recycling containers must be clearly labeled three times with the words, ''recycling: bottles and cans'' in letters at least four inches high. Landlord's container didn't comply with the regulations.
