Proper Boiler Registration Not Filed

DOB issued a violation notice to landlord for not maintaining the building's boiler due to defective parts and improper registration. Landlord showed that the defects had been corrected, but the boiler still wasn't properly registered. The ALJ ruled against landlord and fined her $500. Landlord appealed and showed that an architect had been hired to process the boiler registration before the ALJ hearing date. ECB ruled against landlord. Landlord's architect filed a boiler installation form, not a boiler registration. Landlord hadn't properly registered the boiler.
