Noisy Tenant

LVT Number: 14106

Landlord sued to evict noisy tenant. The court ruled for tenant after a trial. Landlord appealed and won. Landlord proved through undisputed trial testimony that tenant had an unreasonable level of noise coming from his apartment. But since tenant had corrected the problem by removing his stereo from the apartment, the eviction was delayed. If the problem recurred within six months, landlord could go back to court to ask for tenant's eviction.
