No Rent Overcharge for Tenant's Suspended Section 8 Subsidy

Tenant complained of rent overcharge. She said that NYCHA suspended her Section 8 rent subsidy due to landlord's failure to make timely repairs to her apartment. The DRA ruled against tenant. Tenant appealed and lost. Landlord charged tenant the legal regulated rent, and there was no overcharge. The DHCR does not have authority to make any ruling on the repair or rent subsidy issues tenant raised. She must go to NYCHA to seek further relief.
