No Proof Heat and Hot Water Violations Were Cleared

Rent-stabilized tenant complained of inadequate heat and hot water in her apartment. The DRA ruled for tenant, reduced her rent, and ordered landlord to restore services. Landlord appealed and lost. Landlord claimed that heat and hot water had been restored. But there were two outstanding heat and hot water violations on HPD’s database, and landlord failed to show that they had been corrected or rescinded.
