No Hazardous Violations in Building

LVT Number: 12956

Landlord applied for MCI rent increases based on elevator upgrading. The DRA ruled for landlord, and tenants appealed. Among other things, they claimed there were immediately hazardous violations in the building. The DHCR ruled against tenants. Review of HPD records showed no current immediately hazardous violations of any laws relating to the maintenance of building services. Also, there was no record of tenant service complaints to the DHCR or any resulting rent reductions.
