Order No. 41, for the period between Oct. 1, 2006, and Sept. 30, 2007, set renewal increases at 2.25 percent for one-year leases and 4.25 percent for two-year leases. Within the Village of Hempstead, the allowable adjustments were lower, set at 0.5 percent for one-year renewals and 1.0 percent for two-year renewals.The court dismissed the case.
