LVT Number: #26005

White Plains landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on elevator modernization and upgrading. The DHCR ruled against landlord based on an outstanding rent reduction order. Landlord filed an Article 78 appeal, and the DHCR took the case back for reconsideration. The rent reduction order in question affected only a few tenants and concerned garage spaces. The rents had now been restored. The DHCR granted the MCI rent increase application but delayed the effective date to the first rent payment date following rent restoration.
