MCI Increase Granted for New Security System

Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on a number of improvements. The DRA ruled for landlord and granted rent increases of $10.40 per room per month. The DRA approved an increase for a new boiler, although it disallowed related costs for DOB fees, Con Edison gas line accommodation, permit cost, taxes, and oil tank removal. The DRA also approved an increase for a security system consisting of 20 new security cameras, a recorder, and associated hardware and equipment.
