Landlord's 30-Day Termination Notice States Enough Facts

LVT Number: #19855

Landlord sued to evict month-to-month tenant after sending tenant a 30-day termination notice. Tenant asked the court to dismiss the case. Tenant claimed that landlord didn't give him sufficient notice to move out. The court ruled against tenant. Because the apartment wasn't subject to rent stabilization or rent control, the termination notice had to state only the termination date of the tenancy and what would happen if tenant didn't move out. Landlord's termination notice stated sufficient facts.
