Landlord, Tenants Settle Service Claims

LVT Number: #23335

Tenants complained of a reduction in building-wide services after landlord stopped providing a community room and children's playground. The DRA ruled for tenants in part and reduced their rents. Tenants and landlord both appealed. They had signed a settlement agreement before the DRA issued an order. The DHCR revoked the DRA's order and allowed the case to be resolved by agreement. Both sides were represented by attorneys. Tenants and landlord agreed that landlord would provide a new community room and children's play area.
