Landlord Sent Renewal Offer to Improper Address

LVT Number: 17235

Landlord sued to evict rent-stabilized tenant for not renewing her lease. Tenant claimed that she didn't get the renewal offer. The court ruled for tenant. Landlord mailed the renewal offer to tenant at the building. Tenant had told landlord she had a post office box and wanted her mail delivered there. In a prior court case, landlord agreed to do so and agreed to remove tenant's mailbox from the building lobby. So landlord sent the renewal offer to an improper address.
