Landlord Responsible for Evicted Tenant's Property Loss

Evicted tenant sued landlord after her property was lost. By court order, landlord had been directed to place tenant's belongings in storage for 30 days after eviction. When tenant went to retrieve her property, the storage company couldn't locate the items. Landlord claimed that it wasn't responsible. But the court found that landlord was responsible, for failing to adequately supervise the storage company's removal and storage of tenant's property.
