Landlord Proved Rent Registration Form Was Mailed to Tenant

LVT Number: 14778

Tenant filed a fair market rent appeal. Landlord claimed that tenant didn't file her complaint within 90 days of getting the initial rent registration (RR-1) form. The DRA ruled for tenant. Landlord appealed and won. Landlord had submitted proof to the DRA that it sent tenant the RR-1 form by certified mail, return receipt requested, and that tenant had signed the return receipt. Tenant didn't file the fair market rent appeal within 90 days. So her complaint wasn't filed on time and must be dismissed.
