Landlord Not Responsible for Theft of Tenant's Property

Tenant sued landlord in small claims court, claiming landlord's negligence caused the theft of property from tenant's room while tenant was away for a month. The court ruled against tenant, and tenant appealed and lost again. Tenant didn't prove that landlord's negligence caused the theft, or that landlord's employees burglarized tenant's apartment.
