Landlord Must Restore Damaged Master TV Antenna

LVT Number: #26185

Tenant complained of a reduction in building-wide services because the building’s master television antenna wasn’t working. The DRA ruled for tenant and reduced his rent. Landlord appealed and lost. Landlord argued that the master antenna was outdated and technologically outmoded. He also claimed that for the master antenna to work it would now require another box, which would be paid for by the tenant.

Landlord didn’t dispute that the antenna became damaged by weather and lost television reception for most channels.
