Landlord Gets MCI Increase for Front Door and Hallway Renovations

LVT Number: #24774

Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on the installation of a new roof, pointing and waterproofing, new apartment windows, new front door, hallway renovations, and a new water meter. The DRA ruled for landlord in part, but disallowed any increase for the front door and hallway renovations because landlord didn't submit a cost breakdown for that work. Landlord appealed and won. Landlord claimed that it had submitted the cost breakdown at the DRA's request. The DHCR approved the additional rent increase based on the submitted cost breakdown.
