Landlord Gets Back Rent Owed

LVT Number: 15017

Landlord sued to evict tenant for nonpayment of rent. The court ruled for landlord in part, giving tenant some rent abatement for apartment conditions. Tenant appealed and lost. There was no reason to increase the rent abatement, since landlord promptly made the repairs when notified of the apartment conditions. The lower court, also, wasn't required to order landlord to correct new violations, since there was no request at the trial for this action.
