Landlord Didn't Take Tenant's Property

LVT Number: 13103

Former tenant sued landlord, claiming that landlord took or negligently removed his property at the time tenant was evicted. The court and appeals court ruled against tenant. Landlord had given tenant access to reclaim the items tenant claimed were missing, both from the apartment and from a storage room. Tenant didn't do so for seven months. For that reason, tenant couldn't claim landlord took his property so many months later.
