Landlord Didn't Submit Additional Information

LVT Number: 14715

Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on various improvements. The DRA ruled against landlord. Landlord appealed and lost. The DRA had advised landlord that additional information was needed regarding the pointing and waterproofing installation that landlord claimed was done. In addition, certificates of electrical inspection were needed for the gas burner and electrical rewiring installation. Landlord submitted only a vague contractor's statement and gave no reason for not submitting the required governmental approvals. So the DRA properly denied landlord's MCI application.
