Landlord Didn't Prove Correction of Violations Before Hearing

LVT Number: 13173

DOB issued violation notices to land- lord for not maintaining two elevators. Landlord claimed it had corrected the violations by the time the hearing was held. The ALJ ruled against landlord and fined it $350. Landlord appealed, claiming it had submitted certificates of correction to DOB. ECB ruled against landlord. Landlord hadn't corrected all the conditions listed in the violations. There was still ''unguarded car lighting.'' So landlord's certification of correction wasn't proper.
