Landlord Didn't Maintain Sprinkler System

The Fire Department issued violation notices to landlord for failing to produce records for its sprinkler system, failing to maintain the sprinkler system, and failing to have the person inspecting the system obtain a Certificate of Fitness. Landlord claimed that it had hired a company to correct the conditions but that they weren't finished until after ECB's first hearing date. The ALJ fined landlord $2,400. Landlord appealed and lost. Landlord didn't dispute the conditions.
