LVT Number: 11642

Landlord sued to evict tenant. The court ruled against landlord, finding that landlord wasn't the building's owner. Landlord appealed. The appeals court ruled for landlord and reopened the case. Landlord could maintain the proceeding since he'd entered into the lease with tenant. Tenant had moved out and didn't appear in court. Subtenant had no standing to challenge landlord's right to bring a proceeding.
