Landlord Corrected Condition Cited in Order

The DRA reduced Yonkers tenants' rents based on broken garage doors, dirty hallways, broken glass, hazardous steps, and a littered courtyard. Landlord applied to restore the rent, claiming it had corrected the defective conditions. A DHCR inspector confirmed this, and the DHCR restored the rent. Tenants appealed, arguing that numerous defects still existed. Landlord wins. Landlord restored the services tenants had originally complained about. Tenants' complaints on appeal were for different defects.
