Landlord Can Amend 2015 Rent Registration Based on Separate DHCR Order

LVT Number: #31488

In 2019, landlord asked the DHCR for permission to amend the 2015 rent registration for tenants' apartment. Landlord said that the registered tenant name, Luis Garcia, was incorrect and that the registered tenant names should be Anthony Martin, Lisa FLoyd, and Bianca Floyd. Landlord also said that the registered rent should be $1,100 for 2015. Landlord submitted a separate DHCR order that directed landlord to request these changes to the 2015 registration. The DRA ruled for landlord. Tenants appealed and lost.
