Landlord Bought New Stove

LVT Number: 11464

Tenant complained of a reduction in services. The DRA ruled for tenant and reduced his rent. Landlord later applied for rent restoration. The DRA ruled for landlord, and tenant appealed, claiming that landlord hadn't restored the stove. Landlord argued that he bought the new stove but that tenant didn't allow delivery and so the stove was waiting in the basement until tenant permitted installation. Landlord submitted a copy of a receipt for the stove. The DHCR ruled against tenant. Tenant hadn't answered landlord's application to restore the rent.

So there was nothing to contradict landlord's claim.
