Landlord Accepted Alternate Recertification Date with Section 8 Tenant

Landlord sued to evict project-based Section 8 tenant for failing to complete her annual recertification. The court ruled against landlord and dismissed the case. Tenant showed that she complied with, and landlord accepted, an alternate recertification date. The court ordered landlord to retroactively adjust tenant’s rent subsidy to conform with a June 29, 2015, lease amendment.
