Kitchen Cabinet Doors Didn't Close Properly

LVT Number: #24217

Tenant complained of a reduction in services. The DRA ruled for tenant and reduced his rent for, among other things, defective kitchen cabinet doors. The DRA later denied landlord's application to restore rent, finding that tenant's kitchen cabinet doors still didn't close properly. Landlord appealed and lost. Landlord claimed that this was a minor condition that didn't support the rent reduction order. None of the six kitchen cabinet doors on the upper cabinet in tenant's kitchen closed properly. This wasn't a minor condition.
