Illegal Drug Trafficking Conducted in Apartment

Landlord New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) decided to evict tenant after an administrative hearing. Landlord found tenant to be undesirable based on illegal drug trafficking from the apartment. Undercover police had arrested tenant after two drug sales. In the apartment, they found 129 vials of crack, over $4,000 in small bills, transaction records, and drug paraphernalia. Tenant appealed, claiming that landlord's ruling was unreasonable. The court ruled against tenant. Tenant's conduct had created a danger to the health and safety of her neighbors.
