Hot Water Service Adequate

Tenants complained that there was insufficient hot water. The DRA ruled against tenants. One tenant appealed, claiming that HPD violations were proof of inadequate hot water. He also said that no tenant saw any DHCR inspector come to the building in response to their complaint. The DHCR ruled against tenant. A DHCR inspector had come and gained access to seven out of 14 apartments. The hot water complied with the minimum of 120 degrees required by the Housing Maintenance Code.
