Extermination Sign Isn't Required

LVT Number: 7050

The DRA reduced tenants' rents because landlord didn't provide certain services. Landlord later applied to restore the rents, claiming that services were now provided. Tenants claimed that conditions still existed. An inspection showed, among other things, that no sign was posted in the building's public area indicating the availability of extermination services. For this and other reasons, the DRA denied landlord's application. Landlord appealed, and the DHCR revoked the DRA's finding as to the extermination sign.

The lack of a sign itself isn't proof that landlord isn't providing exterminator services.
