LVT Number: 9270

Landlord sued to evict tenant for nonpayment of rent, and got a judgment against her for $3,307 in rent owed. Tenant moved out because she didn't pay the judgment and expected to be evicted. Tenant then tried to pay the rent owed, but landlord wouldn't tell her the amount of the judgment, and wouldn't accept her check for the rent due. Landlord then rented the apartment to someone else. The court issued an eviction warrant against tenant because she didn't pay the amount of the judgment. Tenant asked the court to vacate the warrant and let her pay the rent due. The court ruled for tenant.
