Eviction Warrant Vacated

LVT Number: 9877

Landlord bank sued to evict tenants from three apartments in building that was in foreclosure. Landlord named tenants as ''John Doe'' and ''Jane Doe'' in its petition, notice of petition, judgment, and warrant, even though landlord knew the actual names of tenants. For that reason, landlord's petitions were defective. The eviction warrants were therefore vacated and the petitions dismissed.
