Elevator Found Defective

LVT Number: #23343

Tenants complained of a reduction in building-wide services based on elevator problems. The DRA ruled for tenants and reduced their rents. Landlord appealed and lost. Landlord claimed that it had a monthly service contract with an elevator company that included replacement of car buttons. But the elevator didn't stop on the sixth floor, and two elevator buttons were missing, at the time of the DHCR's inspection. And one tenant pointed out that at least one button was still missing.
