Drug Activity in Tenant's Apartment

Landlord sued to evict tenant for selling drugs out of her apartment. Tenant had been arrested in the apartment for possession of marijuana. Tenant claimed that landlord's termination notice was defective and that the case should be dismissed. The court ruled against tenant. Landlord's termination clearly notified tenant that landlord sought her eviction for drug activity in the apartment. Landlord even attached copies of the search warrant, the arrest reports, and the police lab report describing the marijuana seized in the apartment.
