Discrepancy in Building Address

Tenant complained of a reduction in services in his building lobby. The DRA ruled for tenant and reduced his rent. Landlord appealed, noting that the conditions cited in the DRA's order related to 88-01 35th Ave., while tenant lived at 88-09 35th Ave. Tenant claimed that the two addresses were one building. The DHCR found nothing indicating that the conditions found were in tenant's building. Both the DRA's order and the underlying inspection report listed the 88-01 address. The DHCR revoked the rent reduction but sent the case back for reinspection in the proper building to investigate tenant's complaints.
