Court Refuses to Delay Eviction Warrant

LVT Number: 15569

Landlord sued to evict tenant after getting a judgment of foreclosure and sale against tenant in a prior case. The court ruled for landlord in the eviction case and issued an eviction warrant. Tenant then asked the court to delay the eviction while tenant appealed the court decision in the foreclosure action. The court ruled against tenant. Tenant apparently was just seeking a further delay while presenting no real meritorious claim.
