Cosmetic Problems with Bathtub

LVT Number: 10939

Tenant complained of a reduction in services, including problems with her bathtub. The DRA ruled for tenant and reduced her rent. Landlord later applied to restore the rent. The DRA ruled for landlord, and tenant appealed, claiming that the bathtub hadn't been repaired. The DHCR ruled against tenant. An inspection showed that the bathtub porcelain was worn and showed a black mark. This was a cosmetic condition and didn't prevent use of the tub.
