Boiler Wasn't Registered with DEP

LVT Number: 9187

DEP issued landlord a violation notice for not registering the building's boiler. The ALJ fined landlord $572, and he appealed. Landlord argued that he'd renewed his registration for the old boiler, and had been told by an unidentified person at DEP that this registration would cover his new boiler as well. Landlord loses. His current registration doesn't cover the new equipment, and he didn't renew the registration for the old boiler until after he got the violation notice.
